The Synco Mic-M2S is a camera microphone specifically designed for outdoor use and particularly suitable for vlog, YouTube, TikTok and similar video applications. The microphone features a robust, yet lightweight, metal chassis and a switchable high-pass filter to reduce low-frequency rumble and wind noise. The Mic-M2S can run for up to 100 hours on a single AAA battery and includes a silicone rubber shock mount that insulates the microphone from handling noise. The shock mount features both a cold shoe mount and a 1/4"-20 threaded hole for mounting on cameras, stands and poles. The capsule's cardioid polar pattern focuses audio capture in front of the microphone to reduce background sound, resulting in improved audio quality for your videos, especially when compared to the omni-directional microphone built into a camera or phone. An LED indicator lights up green when the microphone is switched on and blue when the 100 Hz low-cut filter is activated. The foam windscreen helps reduce wind noise and two 3.5 mm connection cables are also included: a TRRS cable for smartphone use and a TRS cable for camera use. A carrying case is also provided to hold the microphone and accessories.
